london calling

When I was in college, I was lucky enough to participate in the study abroad program during my sophomore year. London was my home for that fall semester.

Driving the kids to school today, for some reason I was brought back. I guess it was the weather this morning, the way the sky was overcast, the slight breeze, and the briefest sprinkle. I have London on the brain and would love to return. I would stay in Covent Garden and shop my little heart out.

where'd they go?

Over half of my Blog List is gone! Has anyone had this happen before?! I've had things breaking left and right around here -- modem died, cell phone charger has an unravelling wire (and no longer works), my back molar broke in half, and now this. Oy-vey. I'd ask, "what next?" but I don't think I want to know.
