Relaxed yet?I received some sample lavender products today from Lil's Lavender. These products, made in the Pacific Northwest, are divine.
According to Aromaworld4u.com, lavender oil has a "smoothing and calming effect on the nerves, relieving tension, depression, panic" and is quite effective in relieving sleep troubles. It is also one of the few essential oils that can be used "neat on the skin" and is useful for treating sunburn, burns, and insect bites.
Never mind the healing properties, I love lavender for it's glorious fragrance and color. I've heard tale of warm sunshine bringing a field of lavender to life. I think I'll let my mind take me there right now......
