do you boo?

Do you celebrate Halloween? Dress up, carve pumpkins, decorate, make these? I'm just not feeling it this year. Maybe because I've been sick, or maybe because my children are getting so much older (sniff) the thrill is just gone this year. Although I wouldn't pass up a good haunted house or haunted hay ride, I'm not sure the pumpkin carving kit will be making it out of the closet this year. Boo-humbug.

  1. I have to admit it's not my favorite holiday either. My neighbors all have the most obnoxious, tacky decorations up---- I feel like such a Scrooge . I do like pumpkin patches though and will be dressing up my pug---I don't know where I'll even take him, but the costumes are too cute to resist. Ridiculous.

  3. Halloween is the holiday I always WANT to get much more excited about than I do. I think it's because I'm in New York--it's hard to get spooky here when the scariest thing I see all weekend is drunk girls staggering around in Slutty Cop costumes and tripping on their high heels. Send me to a woodsy cabin with the wind whistling in the trees and I'd be RIGHT in the mood.

  4. We've spent so much money on our new house that I'm going to wait until the day after to scoop up some decorations.

Next year, we'll go all out.
