Selfridge's does it right!








According to View London:
Hold on to your hats for a thrilling season of camp and eccentric entertainment with Jonny Woo at Selfridges. The self styled queen of drag will be entertaining Christmas shoppers at the famous department store on Oxford Street with panto tributes and gay bingo for all.

Christmas at Selfridges
Part of a season of live entertainment and special events in the run up to Christmas 2009, shoppers can join Jonny Woo at Selfridges for festive fun and frivolity. The entertainer will be keeping the crowds happy with special performances and activities on Thursday and Fridays in the run up to Christmas.

Megadames Promenade
If you're a closet panto fan who loves all the double entendres and camp merriment of the traditional festive stage show, then join Jonny Woo at Selfridges for the Megadames Promenade. Joined by a cast of larger than life dames on stilts, Jonny will at out humorous and slightly naughty versions of pantomime classics.

Gay bingo
Carrying on with the pantomime theme, the Jonny Woo at Selfridges season of events also includes the popular gay bingo, moved from its usual residency at the ICA for the Christmas season. The panto special gay bingo sessions take place in the Widow Twankey's Cafe at Selfridges, and all proceeds go towards the children's charity Mothers4Children.

The Megadame Promenade pantomime tribute by Jonny Woo at Selfridges takes place every Thursday from 6pm - 9pm in the run up to Christmas. Admission is free.

The panto special gay bingo sessions take place at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm every Friday in December until Christmas. There is an admission fee of £1.00, and entrants must be 18 or over.
