Karen Appleton

Have you heard of the artist Karen Appleton?
I find her work beautiful, and the more edgy pieces really speak to me.

I think this would look awesome in a kitchen.  Really, really big.

This one is titled "Till Death Do Us Part"

Have a great FRIDAY!

And on another note: what's up with my sudden onset of adult acne?  Anyone have experience with this??

Happiness Is a Nancy Bass Painting

So I had four sentences written trying to relay why I love these paintings....but the truth is, I have no idea why I love Nancy Bass' art; I just do.  I'll let the art speak for itself:

The good news is that we have three of her "smalls" for sale at Roxie Daisy.  Three delightful cow portraits.  Come see them!

Last Jaunt to the Beach?

Wondering what to do with all the seashells you and the kids collected?
Wondering what to do with all that free time while the kids are at school?

Here's an idea....
