My husband in is Italy all week.
He is a history teacher at a small independent school. They have there a fantastic program called "Emphasis Week". This is a week whereby faculty members pick a subject, topic, or area of expertise and spend the week with students immersed in the subject. There have been many overseas trips, but just as many in-town endeavors, including things such as theater workshops or fly fishing. My husband is doing a Renaissance Emphasis and has taken a group of 16 high-schoolers to Florence.
