These beautiful photos strike a chord with me. My grandmother had a large still life painting hanging in her dining room that I remember being dark and moody, and reminiscent of these photos. I seem to remember it having dark purple grapes overflowing out of a chalice....
(I'll have to ask my mom whatever happened to that painting.)
I just saw something like these winking at me at a thrift store but I couldn't think of a place it would have worked in our house. Boo~
