I hate drinking water. No, really, I do. And I've tried the lemons, the limes, the oranges, mint, seltzer, ice, no ice, even hot (like my mother does!), but I just can't stand it. I know it's good for me; I know I don't drink nearly enough, but honest-to-god, sometimes I will actually go thirsty to avoid drinking it!
Every day, I tell myself that this will be the day that I will miraculously enjoy it, crave it, thirst for it. And every day as I force those sips down, I mutter, "I hate water."
What is wrong with me?
