used henna on your hair?
If you have, you know of the hell I just subjected myself to. If you haven't, well, you're lucky. I can say with confidence that I will never do that again. The good news is that it worked and I have nice, richly colored dark brown hair. The bad news is that the smell is so horrible (even after rinsing and washing) that I am nauseous beyond belief.
Time for a nap.
That's too bad that you dislike the Henna so much. Yes, it has a "wet hay" scent ( I kind of like it now) but it is worth it for the wonderful things it will do for your hair.
ReplyDeleteNot just color but strength and conditioning. I also appreciate the scalp benefits. It helps control scalp eczema.
Thanks for the warning---never tried it and now, pretty sure I never will. Beauty is pain right? Oh well, I'm sure your hair looks like a supermodel : )

Oh yeah, I had a run in with it's stink back in the early 90's. Wouldn't recommend it!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, the smell will eventually go away.
The Body Shop used to make a henna product (AGES ago) that I used in college. My hair has naturally reddish highlights, so I didn't see much of a difference.
