spring fever

I was recently contacted by Erin Flett (a graphic, surface, and textile designer) wanting to know if her pillows would be something of interest for me to sell at Pillow Mint.  My answer was "yes" and I'm excited to say that I just placed my first order with her -- and cannot wait to get these lovely pillows!  I am especially enamored with the bunny and squirrel; wouldn't they look so great in a children's room?!

Erin's designs are hand screened on vintage reproduction bark cloth -- a nubby, bark-like texture, 100% cotton, open crepe weave that became very popular during the 1940's and 50's.  Usually one can only find bark cloth at estate sales or antique shops, but Full Swing Textiles (here in the US) is once again manufacturing it.  This material is luxurious, durable, and of the highest quality.
Erin's pillows are all hand made and stitched in Maine with water based inks.  I ordered the feather/down blend insert for the store, but she also offers down-alternative or 100% down inserts.
Depending on the design, the pillows are either 20x20 or 10x10.

Fresh for spring, and giving me a bad case of spring fever!!
