I just had to put this one in....it was under the heading "custom." :)
Furniture too
I love the rugs. (I love these more than the actual animal-shaped hide rugs.) I can imagine one in a master bedroom; I bet it would feel so good under-foot.
OK, that being said -- would you feel bad (unethical) if you were to purchase one of these rugs/ottomans/chairs? I seriously doubt Stella McCartney owns a piece. Where do you draw the line between loving something and your principles? It's weird -- I do eat meat, and I buy (usually exclusively) leather shoes and purses -- but I would never buy a fur coat! Hypocritical?
I am probably debating this because I could never afford any of these pieces. I think that if I *could* buy one of these, there would be no debate. The only hard decision at that point would be which design to choose!! Does that make me a bad person?
Tell me what you think.
I love Kyle Bunting, too. I don't really have any ethical issues with using leather or hides. And as far as fur goes, people should buy vintage pieces. it's practically recycling! :)
ReplyDeleteI recently used this calvin klein pony hide rug in a family's rec room. They're beautiful in person and are a bit less than the same KB style. www.calvinkleinrugs.com/collections/prairie.html
Crazy about the rugs just crazy :)
ReplyDeleteThe pattern is amazing. Have a happy weekend! xx
Love the rugs, gorgeous, and that orange chair is a wow.

New to this company..and just dying over each and every (well almost every) one! :) I have no issue with fur...and I don't eat meat...so go figure. To each his or her own is my motto!
ReplyDeleteoooh FANTASTIC. I would personally like to have the geometric rugs but the cowboy hat one is amazing!!! and the two ottomans at the end of the bed is just luxuruious. yummy!
